An advanced version of the original mini-SCUBA - Spare Air, the Xtreme 6 adds the innovative snorkelator that allows the user to switch from snorkelling to SCUBA for a deeper look, all in a compact design prividing 6 cu. ft. of air.
EasyDive Mini-SCUBA Kit Option 1
Forget all the expensive SCUBA gear! The EasyDive Kit provides 19 cu. ft. of air in a compact and lightweight integrated design. Combined with a snorkelator, the regulator converts from snorkelling to diving on a turn of the dial.
EasyDive Mini-SCUBA Option 2
Like option 1, the EasyDive Kit Option 2 supplies the same 19 cu. ft. of air but adds the option of using a detachable cylinder that can be replaced in the field and refilled like standard SCUBA cylinders with no special compressor adapter.

Why we invented Spare Air
One more breath.
A whole new idea.
After surviving an out-of-air emergency on a night dive, our founder Larry Williamson set out to create a compact, independent source of backup air. Spare Air made its trade-show debut in 1979.
That original idea still drives us: practical breathing equipment, made by people who understand why it matters. We manufacture Spare Air in Huntington Beach, California, and support the equipment we build.

Spare Air is independent backup air for SCUBA; HEED is designed for emergency egress; SWBA is configured for swift water rescue; and Industrial Safety packages offer emergency escape configurations. EasyDive, Xtreme, and BLU3 serve different recreational diving needs. Review the specific model’s instructions, limitations, and training requirements before choosing.
How long does the air last?
There is no single duration for every user. Air consumption depends on depth, exertion, breathing rate, cylinder capacity, and fill pressure. Compare model specifications and follow the operating manual for your intended application.
Can I refill my unit?
Spare Air and HEED cylinders are refillable. Use the correct adapter, pressure, and suitable breathing-air source for your model. Our refilling instructions explain the compatible equipment and procedures.
Do I need training?
Training requirements depend on the product and application. Read the manual, practice the applicable procedures, and follow the training requirements for diving, aviation egress, or professional rescue. Equipment does not replace the skills required for its intended use.
