About this model
HEED 3 is a compact, lightweight Helicopter Emergency Egress Device manufactured by Submersible Systems for military and commercial personnel in short-term out-of-air emergencies. The hoseless 300 model combines a 3 cu ft cylinder with a regulator mounted directly on the cylinder. It provides a compact backup-air configuration for aircraft, watercraft and vehicles operating around possible water emergencies. The supplied holster has straps for compatible MOLLE vests, a mouthpiece cover and an included dial-gauge pressure indicator. The HEED product line has been manufactured since 1979.

Refilling your HEED
Choose None, 920C air-compressor refill adapter (+$65), 910C yoke SCUBA-tank refill adapter (+$100), or 910D DIN SCUBA-tank refill adapter (+$100), according to your filling equipment.
The selected adapter is supplied with every unit on that cart line. For three HEED units and one adapter, add one unit with an adapter and two units with None as separate cart entries.

Mounting and setup
The included holster provides a mounting arrangement for compatible MOLLE equipment. These photos illustrate the device’s scale and available mounting positions. Life vests and PFDs shown are sold separately; select the holster orientation offered for this model and confirm fit with your equipment.
