About HEED 3 SWBA
Based on Submersible Systems’ HEED 3 compressed-air emergency breathing system, originally used by crews escaping ditched aircraft in water, HEED 3 SWBA (Swift Water Breathing Apparatus) is designed as a surface-level emergency breathing system for swift-water and flood-rescue personnel. Its separate first- and second-stage regulators, flexible braided hose and PFD mounting system provide a configuration for rescue operations.

Inline shutoff option
Add the Highland by XS Scuba Deluxe inline shutoff for the second stage (+$59.99), or choose None. The knurled slide collar switches gas flow on or off. It is supplied only when selected.

Refill adapters are included only when selected above. The nose clip is sold separately.
Mounting and setup
The padded holster provides MOLLE straps, Velcro and D-rings for attachment to a compatible PFD. The included shoulder sleeve helps organize the hose and second-stage regulator. These photos show mounting and hose-routing examples; the PFD is sold separately. Confirm fit and follow the manufacturer’s setup and training instructions.

Refilling
A refill adapter is not included unless selected. Choose a 920C breathing-air compressor adapter (+$65), 910C yoke SCUBA-tank adapter (+$100), or 910D DIN SCUBA-tank adapter (+$100), according to your filling equipment. Each selected adapter is supplied with each unit on that cart line. To order several units with one adapter, add one with an adapter and the others with None.
Filling equipment is sold separately. Confirm pressure, breathing-air filtration, connections and supplied adapter before purchase. Follow manufacturer filling and training instructions.
